Ableton Forum

Hi,

I've bought IRCAMAX 2 yesterday, as the matrix synth and audio to midi effects seemed very interesting. So far I really love it and have made really interesting sounds with it.

However, it is hard to find any documentation on it. There is a course in Ableton, but I'm looking for a PDF user manual, like every decent software manufacturer provides. The IRCA homepage isn't very straight forward as well.

Does anybody have an idea or a link where I could get a user manual?

indeed, even k-devices (which are much cheaper) provide with pdf manuals, it's an obligatory requirement for such products. maybe they rely on ableton's builtin lessons?

The problem is, that the built-in "lessons" are only descriptions of what the device does. There are several parameters which are tricky to figure out and near impossible to perdict by only listening to the changes. I'd rate the devices really good, but the lack of manuals and tutorials is a bit crushing.

Have you unfolded the help view bottom left and clicked on parameters?

Yeah, some parameters are explained but only minimal.
