BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
Hello
When i drag and drop a wave file on an oscillator, it works great , but when i save the preset and recall it after, it shows the original wave which was included with the preset
Someone has the same thing ?
thx

Did you move the set or preset around? or renamed anything?

Re: BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
Hi Christian
No anything has moved. I don't know if it can help you, but when i drag and drop a wavetable, i see the new waveform but the name is unchanged and is not in the list, so i suppose @ preset loading it loads the name from the list it has saved.
Another issue is that i have only 5 different algorithms, one is present twice (the one with osc 4 modulating osc 1,2,3). I ve checked, if i change, the 2 identical are producing the same sound)
thx

Can you post two screenshots of these two identical sounds where i can see your settings?lxegs wrote: Another issue is that i have only 5 different algorithms, one is present twice (the one with osc 4 modulating osc 1,2,3). I ve checked, if i change, the 2 identical are producing the same sound)

Re: BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
Sorry, i meant the whole Bengal - depending on your OP settings you can achieve similar sounds but the algorithm should be fine...
Re: BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
I see, that clarifies things: These two sound the same because the one Modulator (OP4) does not modulate any of it's Carriers unless you
turn up the Volume for it. If you'd choose Algorithm 6, it would still sound the same.
It takes a bit time and practice to get used to FM stuff and see what's modulating what and how much and so on but that's also the beauty of FM...
Cheers

Re: BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
yes you're right ! : only the picture of the algorith is the same @ both time.
Can you upload the corrects algorithms i should see in these cases ?
thx

Re: BENGAL : wavetable not saved with preset
? The picture isn't the same - once you have algorithm 4 where OP4 is modulates OP1/2/3 and in the other pic it's algorithm 5 where OP4 only modulates OP3 but OP1/2 simple are unmodulated...
