Good news with the latest Max update, you know... the infamous java thing.

...so...what's the best way to get rid of java?...could there be any problems with "old" m4l devices?...are there any other advantages (besides the security) with a java free m4l (e.g. cpu wise...)?...has anyone installed 7.3 yet?...

So why does it still say
"As of version 7.2.4, Max for Live will work in macOS Sierra. However, for users that upgrade the OS (as opposed to reinstalling it), it is necessary to perform a Java 6 SE installation a new time."
in the article macOS Sierra compatibility?

I think this article needs an amendment with info how you can avoid installing Java at all, if that is possible, and how you install supported versions of Java.
