add clips into clip slots with m4l? (not dragging a .als)

Post by sburke1 » Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:52 pm

First my question, then I will explain.

Is there a way I can drag a .als (16 clips saved into my library) onto a clip slot without having to go to my computer and physically drag the .als with my mouse?

Explanation.

I enjoy cropping 16 vocal chops and saving those 16 chops, all at once into my library. then when i am playing a song, i can drag those clips into the first track in my set.

I have my nano pad hard mapped to trigger those 16 clip slots. This is nice because my set becomes less populated than piling all the clips in it.

So my question is…Is there a way I can do this without having to go to my computer, and drag the .als onto the first clip slot?

The ideal solution would be to trigger a scene with a dummy clip in it that uses m4l to automatically add the clips. Any solutions?

Thanks.
