I would like to flash leds based on values in subpatches...currently Im guessing send/receive to objects in parent and linking to them but surely there must be a direct pipe for control panel items like this?
Cheers

There is usually nothing wrong with using send/receive.
If you really want to use wires, you can create [outlet]s within the subpatch.

I thought there might have been a more elegant way...as the ui is so much more complete than Pure Data.
Actually just flashing the value box might even be a better way...maybe for version 2

version 2 how what ?
You can also flash number boxes by sending them two bgcolor messages with a delay. (but still, you'd need wire or s/r....but hey, this is how Max works after all).

Sure. I meant v2 of my project. Getting a solid v1 is always the first goal.chapelier fou wrote:version 2 how what ?
