Floating Text Window

Post by KeanuDP » Fri Aug 31, 2018 1:37 am

Hey Guys,

I am trying to build a live set in Live 10 for an electronic music project.
I work in arrangement mode, where all my song are one after another, each divided with a stop track.
Each song of the set exists of a tempo track, backing track, a click track, and some tracks for the sounds of my 2 midi keyboards.

Since I'm trying to make sure I don't have to look at my laptop in detail all the time, i'd like to have a floating text screen that is 'on top' of my live set.
That floating text window should be able to show a different text for every song (so I can, song by song, insert some things like cue's, important fades I have to do, etc.)

Is there a M4L device (or an alternative vst) that can do this? Or do you know a workaround for this?
It also kinda important that I can adjust the dimensions of the floating screen and can adapt the size of the font.
Or that is at least big enough ;-)

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,
Keanu

copy the text, open Live > drag in empty M4L device > open Max editor > paste > save M4L device
