Launchpad MidiFire Issue

Right now, I am trying to download a Launchpad project from this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vo2GUfAXm8
I now have working midifire and toplights, but on my launchpad, it is slower and is not as fluent as it is shown on the video. It is a MKII, which isn't the pro, but I changed settings to make it work with my MKII. It just has a glitchy look, takes longer for the effect to finish, and is overall not synced with the song how it should be. The files don't seem like they are the problem, but who knows.
Also please don't just link me to a forum post as most people do, chances are I've already seen it and it hasn't helped. Thanks!
