Hello,

it is maybe too early to ask this question right now, but as I understand it, MAX 8 is supposed to improve the CPU usage alot. How do heavy MAX devices behave already for those of you who have already upgraded, such as Max for Cats Bengal, Dark Synth by Amazing Noises and the Convolution reverb? Do you feel much difference?

I don't have those but from a graphics point of view I've seen visualisers on a Mac jump from 35fps to 70fps+

same here.

- The UI is SO MUCH responsive
- Processes seem to be faster with less CPU intensity for many things like sound analysis, and visual processing (I mean the part outside of the GPU, that part was already very very fast)
- gen for message is also something very interesting

What is gen for message? Can not find any hints by searching the web.
Do you mean event domain version called gen?
