Newbie: can I create M4L applications in Abelton Suite?

I thought so, but never used it.
Ableton Suite tells me: You can create your own tools or rebuild existing ones...
I own AS9.
But when I execute M4L (also from AS) it tells me: Trial expired, Saving disabled?

Yes you can.
The trial message is about the Max standalone application, which you don't own (I'm guessing here).
You need to open Max from Ableton Live in order to patch/save etc...
