I believe jur is referring to whether or not you have a separate max install/license you are pointing to with Live.
yep that's what I'm talking about.

As far as the gui problem you are having, I notice some jit.gl objects in the patch. Not 100% on this but I believe those interact directly with your display/graphics drivers.
you're right and the display issue with jit.gl is already known and filled.

But this mapping issue doesn't look common.

I reportet the LFO to Macro Mappingrange Bug a long time ago. It seems nothing has changed. You can reproduce the bug by the following steps.

put a EQ8 in a Rack > Map LP Filter Frq to a Macro > Map a LFO to the Macro (mapping range 10 hz to 20 khz)> play some noise
then change the mapping range of the Macro to 10 hz min 30 hz max and the sound doesn’t change (you should hear almost nothing) but the graphics of the EQ8 does change.

The workaround is the demap an remap the LFO the macro, or to save an load the set on or simply don’t change the mapping range and change the LFO min max instead.

live 10.0.6 win 8.1 max 8.0.3
copy the text, open Live > drag in empty M4L device > open Max editor > paste > save M4L device

Current version of Max bundled in with Live 10.0.6 is 8.0.2. I'm assuming there are still bugs that need worked out before they officially bundle 8.0.3? Could be wrong.

Do you have the same issues when using the bundled version of max (8.0.2)?

Yeah, I'm seeing it here on the beta too (Live 10.1b14, Win 10).
In EQ Eight, the EQ curve and the background audio waveform graphics are clearly differing.
