Hi buddies,
I'm really interested by using max for live as a modular synthesizer. It's probably achievable and already done.
Anyone around doing it ?
I'll be happy to meet you and read you guys,

Re: Modular in Max for live
You can do modular with Live itself (with its Racks and Sidechain Listen on devices like Gate), MSP itself (Max is the messages/MIDI part, MSP the audio DSP part, the graphics part is called Jitter), the already mentioned Stretta's BEAP (comes bundled with Max), already mentioned Max For Cats Oscillot, Chaos Culture Signal and Dillon Bastan Ecosystem.
Max For Cats Oscillot has a nice free "Lite" version that is pretty usable, if you are able to avoid focusing on the negatives (the stuff that is "missing").

+1
Beap is free, built into Max, and is super easy to use as long as you can patch modular.
