control voltage patches

Hi Ableton Buddies,

I have just discovered about those Control Voltages Patches for Max for live.
It's awesome !

How does it works exactly ? Does anyone knows ?

An audio signal, when it goes out of your soundcard, is nothing more that a voltage that varies in time.
So if your soundcard can handle static current (those soundcards are called "DC-coupled"), then it can drive a CV-controlled synth, or whatever. The concept is actually super simple.
