Bass.amxd sub osc query

Not sure if I am doing something daft but:

Loaded Bass.amxd and set it with just sine wave 100%, then I add the Sub oscillator and looking at the spectrum analyser, the sub is an octave above the fundamental. A C0 will add C1 if you turn up the sub.

Surely it should be below?

It is not the Sub Osc, it is all the other Oscs set to -24 semitones and -100 cents in "Tune" tab (you can access clicking the little tuning fork icon).

I had not found that page.

Seems strange to set the defaults to -24st but that would explain why the fundamental is an octave lower than the sub.
