Trigger/toggle device button by every note

Post by lebasti » Thu Jun 06, 2019 6:16 am

Hola!

I wanted to build something similar to the Native Instruments Rounds behaviour of using a different synth (engine) for every note I play (because Rounds uses a lot of cpu resources ;)).

My first plan is to use two chains which is divided in lower and upper octaves reaction. I would need a device then which is triggering the on/off switch of my midi transpose plugin, so that I simulate routing alternating midi to the synths.

Anybody has good idea? I tried using a LFO for that task, but thats not the exact behaviour I want.

Cheers

Basti

Ok cool, thank you! Maybe one of those devices is acting the way I need :)

if you're into coding your own voice allocation system, I've found that Bennyi's poly abstraction is a blast.
