Is there any midi CC envelope device available?

Post by Seta666 » Tue Apr 14, 2020 9:25 am

Hello,

I would like to add a midi CC envelope (I do not know if this would be the right term for it) before an external instrument; so each time a note is triggered it would send this env to the assigned CC (Cutt off, volume, whatever) ADSR preffered but ASR could be enough. This could give extra features to synths that lack it

Does such device already exist?

map Envelope.amxd from "Max for Live Essential" to something like ControlChange8 "https://roberthenke.com/technology/m4l.html"

It works perfect, thank you.

If I add this combo to 3 different tracks, is it possible to control the 3 envelopes at the same time? One master the other 2 slaves

For playing a mono synth as a polysynth via midi round robin

take the new "Envelope.amxd" from the Core Library. There you can map up to 8 parameters to the envelope

That I know, what I want to do is have three envelopes, one on each track set to the same CC, just different midi channel. And control all at the same time from one device (1 master envelope and 2 slaves or a master device and the 3 envelopes as slaves)
