SYNCING M4L LFO ACROSS MULTIPLE TRACKS

Post by slothmusik » Sat Oct 17, 2020 2:47 pm

I am trying to figure out the best way to accomplish this.

I've set up 4 tracks, into each of which I've put a MIDI effects rack consisting of 3 scales. The scale choice is being determined by a M4L LFO. Unfortunately, I dont see how to sync up the 4 LFOs, so that they are selecting the same scale at the same time across all 4 tracks.

Any suggestions here?

Thanks so much!

It cost a few bucks but this might work for you. I have some of their stuff and it’s all worked well for me.

I had looked at ScaleOMat a while back, but wasn't sure that would work in this instance ... but I'll re-visit it ... it might be perfect. If I recall, one thing which might have put me off that choice was that it didn't seem as though I could make up my own scales???

Thanks!

Yeah, I’m not sure on that. Just a thought but can’t you map all of the scales to one lfo? I know there’s a few things on the m4l library that’ll let you map across tracks, if not you could probably open one up and mod it to have more mapping options.
