Small paid job

Post by Mr D » Fri Dec 11, 2020 9:55 am

Hi folks,

I have a small job that i'm curious to know if anyone who's clever with M4L wants to do for me, for which i'm willing to pay.

EDIT:

Sorry, details removed, we might try to sell this so want to keep it under wraps for now, mods, feel free to delete this thread.

Live converts all midi channel to channel 1, so its not possible without workaround.
copy the text, open Live > drag in empty M4L device > open Max editor > paste > save M4L device

Ok, that's weird!

Maybe send out to multiple outputs?

Or forget MIDI and send out CV/Gate to multiple audio outputs?

or....... ?

You can always send the notes to receivers hosted in several tracks with different midi channels.
What’s eating midi on the eurorack side ?
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1

That would be fine, i don't mind jumping through a few hoops!

On the Eurorack side i have a couple of Intellijel midi interfaces, plus a couple of other standalone monosynths to test it with. I've also got a MOTU XT midi interface so i guess i could do something with that. I could also pick up Doepfer A-190-5, i think that can accept 4 channels of midi.

I also have an Expert Sleepers interface, so can output CV / gate directly from that without the need for any midi.
