L.O.M. For Live 11?

Post by Airyck » Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:35 am

Is there one available yet?

I haven’t been able to find anything as of yet (not that I necessarily expected to be able to).
I’m hoping to see some additions like duplicate_region ‘with envelopes’ and hopefully more access to arrangement stuff as well.

New regular features are of course documented but I’m not seeing a lot of info on any changes to the L.O.M. or API.

I’m not even sure if these get updated with Ableton Live updates or just Max updates.

I signed up for the beta list quite a while ago (Mid November) but I haven’t received an invite (not cool enough I guess :p).

Happy to hear it’s been updated. Is there any online documentation?

....L11 is released and I either don't see any "release notes" or "what's new" about the LOM.

but for information you can see this post in the Cycling'74 forum which provide a cool addon to the LOM's nomenclature page.

The docs in the Max version bundled with the Live 11 betas had the updated LOM for months already, and C74 released Max 8.1.10 together with Live 11 yesterday, with the updated online documentation too.

Yes. It's updated for a while but there is no "release note" about the LOM... we have to find in the looong LOM list where are the new things..
Isnt it ?

C74 wrote a nice article about the changes in M4L for Live 11, easier than scrolling or ctrl+F'ing the LOM:

https://cycling74.com/articles/what%27s ... -11-part-1

"Part 1" implies this one is not exhaustive, of course.

yep, the second article will by about interacting with MIDI clips, which sounds very interesting to me.
