How to set clip slot to send OSC message with max for live and connection kit(Deleted old one by mistake)

I am working with a APC40 MKII and trying to send OSC message to a lightform device to change certain parameters of effects live. I am having an issue of being able to map out a clip slot, or the midi drum pad to send out the OSC message. I have been through several tutorials on setting up "TouchOSC", which is a little different and does not use the standard clip areas of ableton, so I am a little stuck.

I have been able to assign the "knobs" and the brightness of effects to the "volume" faders and tried even "mapping" the midi controls as shown in the images below. Here is the tutorial I found that I started with that helped get me to assign those knobs and faders to the midi controller,

Here it had me use a audio rack, the max for live "Envelope Follower" and "OSC send" from an ext pack called "Max for Live Connection Kit".

On the lightform device it has a "learn" function I can use for the volume faders and knobs, but when I press any of the clip slots or drum pads, to send information to the lightform device, its not "receiving" anything from the pads. Again the knobs and faders with this method, but just not any of the drum pads.

I have looked into LiveGrabber, but did not see how I could use a "blank" clip slot to still convert and send it to OSC

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
