Connection Kit / Arduino and Encoders
Simple question, is it possible to map an encoder to a Live parameter via the "Arduino" device from the connection kit ?

Re: Connection Kit / Arduino and Encoders
I don't think I can answer you..... But you mean basicly to build a controller using Arduino? That is have encoders on an Arduino board that can be mapped to parameters in Live?

Yep, but for the sake of easiness I’d love to use the Arduino device from the connection kit.
But I guess it’s not possible. Time to get back into it...

Re: Connection Kit / Arduino and Encoders
I don´t konw about this stuff. But from the tutorial
"To establish a connection between a pin or port of the Arduino and a certain Live parameter you need to use the dedicated MAP button in its respective row. Click the button first and then select the parameter in Live which you want to connect to the Arduino. This either allows you to control a Live parameter using a sensor or to control a LED or Servo using a parameter in Live. Several additional parameters are furthermore available in the M4L device to fine-tune the parameter mapping according to your needs."

copy the text, open Live > drag in empty M4L device > open Max editor > paste > save M4L device

Re: Connection Kit / Arduino and Encoders
I need to make some tests so I understand how to deal with encoders and Arduino better. Cried for help a bit too soon, sorry.
