Is there currently a max4live device to do this?

Post by gabeltron » Wed Aug 25, 2021 2:27 pm

This is what I 'm trying to achieve:

I have a guitar loop (staccato type notes - about 25 or 30) that I've chopped up. What I'd like is for them to be played back with a certain amount of randomization, but without playing back to back repetitive notes. I can then use that to make more melodies, or have it play back so that it's a little different each time. Does anyone have a work flow to do something like this?

Have a look at Buffer Shuffler.
You could also play with Simpler's Slice mode.
