Envelope Follower :: mapped reaction not as shown

Post by .marc. » Sun Jan 09, 2022 1:21 pm

Hi together,

can anyone tell me if he/she also have that problem, that the mapped parameter not react as fast as the envelope follower shows?

I did a track with 173 bpm. now I want to change one parameter every time the envelope follower is in action every 1/4 at 173bpm. the EF peaks every hit perfectly. but If I look at the mapped parameter -> it does not react as fast and as shown in the EF. The parameter changing randomly (looks like that and hears like that)...

strange or normal?

thanks and cheers
marc

That could be due to plugins that add latency to your track, but then everything would be off, which isn't the case if I understand correctly.
Are you sure EF's smooth parameter isn't turned on?
