I populated an Instrument rack with 10 different drum fills, they all got open in its Simpler instances, then in the chain I distributed them through the range of velocity. In the same clip I've drawn 1 note through the entire clip.
The idea is that while playing a song I press a certain key or a pad and it will trigger one of the fills in that Instrument rack, depending on velocity that key was pressed with.
I know I'm pretty close, but so far it is not exactly working, no matter how hard I hit the assigned key it chooses always the same fill. Where did I miscalculate?
How to trigger different fills with an instrument rack velocity?
Re: How to trigger different fills with an instrument rack velocity?
If you assigned a MIDI key to a specific Clip/slot, you have to set Velocity % in that Clip's Launch section, otherwise it doesn't influence the Clip's "volume".

Otherwise what you described should work AFAIK.

Yep, it works now!!))
Thank you!
Now, there's one "minor" thing left: the harder I press the key the louder the fill sound, how do I make them all sound loud?
