anyways, this seems to be the closest design to what my mind has daydreamed over the years..

screw the character or virtue of enjoying anticipation...waiting for this thing sucks...its...

this may be my most pathetic post ever... this may be THE most pathetic post ever..

If you own the LV-2, then you know the faderfox LX-2, too, don't you? Why don't you use that for triggering clips?

maybe because of the visual feedback.
i think no one can really remember which button has a clip

I want one, but one thing that really bugs me is that the Lx-2 is in toggle mode always. ! press start, 1 new press stop. I want it to be trigger, but i don't know pyton so i can't edit the script. And yes it is because of the faderfox, it doesn't help to change the clip in the launch menu.

You could map it manually, but Automap is so nice. Also the Lx-2 has only automap for three tracks..

But i do want one. But nothing will ever beat something like the monome, or monodeck.

Me want! Please make a cheap one for me!

at $350 there are other options, FFS it costs almost as much as an APC40!! you get 3 of them and you're spending $1k+!!! there are other options.

So what are good options really? Would love some tips =)

Ps. Not too big. That's a reason to love the faderfoxes. I have to carry it around a lot so the apc will be too big anyways...

I learned a while ago to not argue with people about what they use, we all work differently and sometimes money doesn't matter.

of all the smaller controllers I can think of, they're ALL cheaper than FaderFoxes. monome, UC33, SL series, triggerfinger, pad control, all of 'em.

use what you love, love what you use.

This seems to be a simple lemur template.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1

pwa lemur and max are soo expensive... lemur + max5 = 2000 euros
usine + mono touch screen layer = 150 euros soon multitouch should be affordable for "normal" people.

Yeah I think that's a smart one dude. But i have no clip launcher to love:P
The monome is so hard to get hold of and here in Norway it is muuutch more expensive than a faderfox.
the uc33 aint my thing for triggering, the sl series are pretty big(but good)

But as i said, keys, pads and controlls are pretty mutch covered, what i need is a good solution for trigering clips without qantize.. iow something easy to bang on:p

I could get like 4 more nanopads dedicated to clips, but then again it takes up a whole lot of space...

ANyone got any good solutions? Or want to edit the faderfox script in pyton for me

Will the APC 40 be rack-mountable?

Thanks,
Ray
