installing EIC instruments (problem)

I'm a new Ableton user. And I'm now installing Ableton Suite. Did anyone experience the same problem I did when trying to click and drag the EIC files from the CD-ROM to the Live window? I get an error message saying that I cannot transfer the file to the library. The only way I can get all those files in is by double clicking on each and every file from the CD - which then transfers it. Any feedback is suggested.[/color]

Are the files in a .zip archive? Did you extract them first?

it sounds about right. click on each pack.

you might be able to try searching for packs via the preferences tab, while the dvd is in the drive. I'm not sure if that would work.

Thanks much for your advice! I've actually installed all of them (took me awhile, double-clicking on them one by one) - but it's done. Now I can start working!
