Can I set a new tempo for multiple clips?

Post by octo » Sat May 02, 2009 10:07 pm

In session view, can I somehow, if I´m playing 6-7 songs in a set, set different tempos within the song? For example, if I´m almost finished on the first track, and I need to get into a new song, how do I change the tempo, without doing it manually?

Hope this is clearly explained.

Regards, Emil

If you give your Scenes names like "128 bpm" etc, Live's tempo will change to that bpm when the scene is triggered.

Live 8 bonus: you can now have lots of extra text in the Scene name along with the bpm, and it still triggers the tempo change.

Ok it doesn´t work. I´m on Live 6.11 and the master tempo does not change when I name my first clips 111 bpm and the next 105 bpm for example. Am I missing somethin here?

I guess you figured out it's the Scenes, not the Clips that hold the bpm names? :)
