recording in two places....

Post by tommyc » Sat Jun 27, 2009 1:30 pm

i am trying to record a song with a friend who has ableton 7 (same as me)...i have created a basic guitar and drum track and sent the files to him....he has recorded vocals and sent me back the necessary vocal parts...however when i import these wav files back into ableton they are out of time...like they are being played slightly faster than the original backing tracks....

any ideas on how to make this work?

have made sure that the bit rate and sample rates are the same and have sent the live session to make sure there is always continuity in tempo and time signatures....

am at a loss why this is not working....

check your start marker in the file. if it needs to be changed, change it.
