Im wanting to setup my microphone with the software to allow me to talk into the microphone and it automatically vocode my voice.Can anybody help me?

trk 1: mic input > vocoder with track 2 set as input
track 2: MIDI track playing bright synth like SquareD on Operator

my live set includes live vocoder vocals this is what ive done and works
gate>limiter>vocoder on the first track, and then select in on the monitoring options and your correct mic input
(the gate reduces feedback, vocoder feedback can be awful, and the limiter means i can yell without destorting the output)
then for the second track put in any sound you want, and set up the vocoder to pull from that track
you can get a lot of cool sounds out of the vocoder by using different carrier signals, you dont have to sound like a robot
saxophones are cool
