Garageband rewired to ableton?

Post by blingstef » Wed Aug 19, 2009 7:27 pm

Ok why would I rewire garageband to ableton?

Because I saw this cool tutorial on youtube on how to make auto tune sounding effect with garageband. It sounds pretty fair... at leat to my hears.
So since I don't have money to buy Auto tune and since I tried to rewire garageband to ableton (but for some reason it doesn't work), would you please tell me If it's possible to do it. If yes, please tell me how.

Garage Band can only act as a ReWire host (he says with authority, though having spent only a few hours with the program). You can do your psuedo-auto tune stuff in GB, export the audio to .aiff and then load that into Ableton.
