Warp Sound Quality

Post by RobertX » Mon Sep 06, 2004 7:15 am

When warping long samples [i.e. whole songs], would there be a performance benefit by breaking up the samples into smaller pieces? Older versions of time stretching software, like Time Bandit, would produce better results when fed smaller bits. Dunno if it matters in Live.

What say ye?

No, there is no difference when cutting your tracks in smaller pieces, audio quality is only affected when you change global tempo relative to orig. tempo of your track!
