Hey

Using just a very basic Ableton setup - what are your suggestions for creating a killer, groovy bassline?

I've been struggling for a while now to design something harmonic, yet powerful. Have searched the forums and come up with some great ideas / tips which are cool, but any specific suggestions for creating a Josh Wink styled bass would be awesome!

Just like you're awesome.

Try the freeware plugin Tal - Bassline . it´s a roland sh101 clone and use the lives fx to put a bit distortion on it. and you have a nice yw Bassline from acid till his minmal basslines all is posible with live and tal bassline :--) trust me .. ive done a lot of records with both :)
