One small question guys, before the beat kicks in, I want to put a nice long synth riser, the problem is that even though I made a riser on the root key of my track, its still sounds like the riser is out of tune, I guess its because it start on the root note at a low scale and then it climbs all the way up on all sorts of notes (using the pitch on the mod envelope), but is there a way to make it go up smoothly as in tune to the melody? like I hear in all the pro tracks
Change the resolution on the envelope automation to the highest resolution (I think it is 64 or 32 note res). An alternative is to play the first note and the last note and adjust the glide on the instrument according. That way you won't need automation at all. Good luck!
Sorry! I didn't mean the bit resolution. I was talking about the envelope res where you change how many breakpoints while you draw the automation. Also if you hold down the Alt key while drawing you should be able to draw freehand without regard to step resolution. See chapters 18 and 19 on automation and clip envelopes for more detail.
no, he means root key => on a higher octave, but same key again.artois wrote:Im sorry but do you mean that when the rise climax to the top I will hit the root note on the original octave?, but then i guess it will ruin the climax no?
