painting knobs on VCM?

Post by samtastic » Fri Dec 04, 2009 2:16 am

hey all,
what suggestions do people have for painting/colouring the knobs of my VCM600?

i'd like something that i can remove completely later (in case i want to remap/recolour things)?

currently im using coloured paper and tape... but this alters the tactile response of the knobs, making them a little cumbersome.

any suggestions welcome : )

cheers,
Sam

well i guess that for doing a good job the thing is not much reversable...maybe with some solvent or similar.some time ago i painted my pc keyboard and what i can say is: 1 or (better) 2 hands of plastic primer on the knobs, make them dry up, then a couple of hands of your favourite paint -i suggest opaque (even though taste means a lot here) because i found it's less prone to dripping- although i am no pro or particularly able with this kind of things..but in my case the result was fine!
