Simple Live Question

Post by Nick Waine » Sat Jan 02, 2010 11:48 pm

I recently did some impromptu recording, where I recorded a simple guitar lick, but without the metronome and with the project tempo not set correctly. All I wanted to do was loop the lick, and set the project tempo to be based on the length of the loop. I don't want to warp or timestretch the loop, but I can't find a way to do this (I usually set the tempo using the tap function and play to the metronome, so it's never been an issue before). Any ideas?

I just finetune the tempo (press up or down with the tempo selected) until a bar (or multiple bars) are the same as the length of the loop.
