How to snap Live window to a fixed size reliably?

Post by Torley » Mon Jan 04, 2010 4:24 am

Friendly greetings! I do Ableton Live video tutorials and am looking for a way to quickly and reliably snap the Live window to a given size, like 1280x720. The reason is because it helps with editing, and ultimately, outputting. Resizing manually becomes a matter of trial and error; my full screen is 1920x1200 but changing resolutions changes other apps, and is awkward.

I'm on a Mac and have tried different solutions; unfortunately, I'm told MercuryMover doesn't work because Live doesn't make its window dimensions available to the standard Mac OS X API (?). Is there a solution someone's enjoyed here?

Thanks in advance.
Yes, that Torley. I use Live to do THIS. :)

Anyone know about this? Other Live tutorial-makers, perhaps?
