Hi all,
I couldn't find any info online on how to collapse/expand the new Live 8 track groups with the APC.
So when I finally figured it out I'd thought I'd post the answer here in case anyone else is having this problem
* Hold down the 'Track Selection' button (for the group channel) for 1-2 seconds *
This expands the group if it is collapsed / collapses the group if it is expanded.
If this is old news to everyone I'd appreciate a link to some other source for this info - AFAIK there's no official info on new Live 8 features as they pertain to the APC40
Cheers,
Dan

Good find. I didn't know you could do that. Now if I could only find a way to control the faders in a drum rack.

I didn't, I just worked it out for myself..
The first time I did it I was excited but I didn't know how I'd done it. So then I trawled Google - nothing
- and finally after trying various combinations on the APC stumbled across the right one!

So what's the final verdict?
I do not understand why it does work on a grouped track but not on a drum rack created from slicing for example.
It is such a great feature, that's a pity that it does not work in general. Is it a bug or any other reason for this behavior?

It's a great trick that would be 10000000x more useful if it worked with drum racks.
