Drag a clip quickly when "magnified"

Is there a way to drag a clip quickly when "magnified" at the utmost?. I try to explain: I click on a clip and "zoom" it at maximum. Then I want to drag it, but it moves too slow. Any trick? Thanks.

You need to pull back just enough until the view speeds up. Zooming too close while the clip is in motion seems to put a big strain on the processor

I found that if I "wiggle" the cursor at the edge of the window, it keeps it scrolling faster...
