Reverb Quality

I've been looking at reverbs from Waves, AudioToys and SoftTube, but all of their demos require an ILok key.

On the other hand I've been testing the 112db Redline Reverb and it's a nice one at first glance.

Why not simply use Logic's Space Designer inside Live. Easi(ish)ly achieved using midi routing through Mac OSX internal IAC midi driver. Upside of this is that you can use ANY effect or instrument from Logic inside Live. Thafe!

Could somenone explain this in detail please. I really would like to use the SD in Ableton..

Also worth looking into the AUNetSend effect in Live coupled with the AUNetReceive one in Logic...

Aether by 2C-Audio is one of the best reverbs around at any price. It is really costly to run in terms of CPU though, I think it's out of the question to use it for live performance. It's completely different to Live's reverb in character, much more open and detailed. I am also a big fan of Live's reverb, but for example I have never put it on a vocal track. I think of Live's reverb as an "effect" but Aether is a bread-and-butter reverb that you use to get conventional reverbs of very high quality. If you can demo Aether it's worth looking into.
