Hey all, I was just curious if anyone could help me out with this. I have the UX1 with abelton live lite 7 and I want to know how to record with the guitar coming through my computer speakers rather then my headphones.

in that case its fine to not use headphones, you would only wanna use headphones when miking to avoid the playback being picked up again..

Right, but I can't figure out how to make that work. I'm brand new to Abelton and am still learning everything and I can't seem to find where to make it just come thru my speakers.

Do you use an audio mixer with audio monitor speakers, or do you use standard computer speakers plugged into a soundcard?

If you use an audio mixer, you use the jacks on the back as your output, into your mixer. If you use computer speakers, then you would use an adapter to have the jack for those fit into the headphone jack on your UX1. If your computer speakers are USB... then, you might have a few extra things to worry about.
