Playing Live...Live. How do YOU compile your Liveset?

Post by electropoet » Wed Dec 01, 2004 11:46 pm

I, like most of you, have seen the power of Live.
I am a musician who prefers to mix my own loops (past and present) while playing guitars, synths, etc...mixing in real time and creating sets that linger for hours.
So, my curiousity is...how do others set-up Live-sets that include literally hundreds of loops. Specifically, is it generally preferable to sling these loops in via the loop explorer when needed, or already have them set up in the live set? My feeling is that there is no problem having a Liveset with some 200+ scenes but would be curious if anyone sees differently. Look forward to some dialog. electropoet.

I've only just bought live as well and also going thru the same questions. If your pc copes with 200 scenes I think your should so for it. That way you can be more flexible to set up more complex midi or key control changes.
