Good morning (evening),

I was just wondering With LIVE 4, Reactor and Absynth and Max, there's no need for emagix and cubase and that sort of stuff (when you're into the clubbing scene). Not having so much time to spend on the soft, I think after having scanned in all that good old vinyl and the newer stuff, there is no need for any of those sequencers. or is there?

Anyone still using one of those sequencers? There might be a good reason probably?

only thing i can really think of is if you're going to score for video or film, or if you need musical notation. past that, i haven't had a use for anything other than what you listed since v4 came out.

For remixing? no, cant think of anything you need cubase for. Mastering maybe ..

I stopped using Cubase when vs 4 came out :)
