how to get the most out of your Kicks, 808s, and bass?

I searched all over this website for this topic and couldn't find anything close.
Does anyone know how to get the most out of their kicks and bass and get that hard, booming sound/ feeling that shakes the clubs up and sound nice in the car?

did you search for layering hits, compression, and sidechain compression? because that is where you will find that information.

high pass the other elements in your track, make sure kicks and sub are in mono too

i downloaded your kick layering rack but it doesn't work ableton show me: The preset cannot be loaded. It is probably broken.

You will need to update to 8.1.3 or higher. The download is free from the Ableton website.

Turn it up.
Actually you'll get some good sound with some basic sidechain compression. Everybody seems to love overproduced stuff right now. It takes a ton of practice though.
