loooooong Paulstretch style stretching with Sampler
here's a way to make extra long stretched-but-smooth samples using Sampler and a pitch bend clip envelope. it's based on my velostretch rack but it uses the higher resolution of pitch bend data to control it, rather than velocity (8191 steps as opposed to 128). this means it's possible to get really smooth stretches over long periods of time, that don't break up or skip.
below is a demo project where i've taken an 18 second sample and stretched it to well over 8mins 30seconds with no breakups.

needs 8.1.3 or newer

By the way, I never used the unlinked automation, knew it was there, but somehow never got around it.
Your device/set reminded me of the opportunities I've been missing. So thanks for that, too.

Super cool! Excellent work, thanks a lot for sharing. I also like your VeloStretch.
I found the PB Stretch also works nicely as a MW Stretch, by just mapping Sample Offset control to Mod Wheel instead of Pitch Bend on Sampler's MIDI page. This would be so that you can leave it in one place and have the Spray LFO's scrub an area, where as I take it the Pitch Bend is for more variation. Either way, fantastic stuff. Thanks a lot.
