Vintage APC 60 :)

Post by nemoy » Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:24 pm

here's a little something i tried:

http://schtubu.com/

Apc 40 & APC 20. They work together quite nicely in combine mode, and APC 20's Note Mode is cool to play drums.
this Way i can work with 16 fix Channels in my live set, without having to navigate around with the APC.

The Wood Panels are savin like 8cm of precious deskspace! Two of the original APC side Panels make a Korg nanocontrol.
what where they thinking?? : )
And it looks cool too hehe

cheers!

That looks better than the originals. I don't know why they added those huge "wings" on the sides of the APCs.

"OK, yet another 20+40 merge - whoppee-wopp!"

That's what I thought at first, but I checked it out anyway, and DAMN that looks good!

Completely agreed on those horrendous wings too. MIDI controllers are not supposed to fly, which means they don't need wings.

hehe! that's why i made those wood panels, because like everybody does that APC 20&40 thingy right now,
and i still wanted mine to be a bit special somehow : )

the wood was from an empty wine box :)
then a bit of sanding and some cheap mahagoni-stain
et voilà
