CO2 effect

Post by zackk724 » Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:23 pm

anyone know how to get that effect that a lot of producers, such as afrojack, put in their songs.

it sounds pretty much like the CO2 blast when your in the club. kinda like an air compressor or something.

This is the simplest sound to achieve ever..

All you need is Operator with everything disabled except :
  • OSC A Enabled
  • OSC A Volume 0dB
  • OSC A WaveForm "Noise White"
  • Filter Enabled
  • Filter Mod "Low Pass 12dB" or "Low Pass 24dB", whatever
  • Filter Resonance around 1
  • Global Volume 0dB
Then Trigger any midi note and Play with the Filter Frequency, you've got your White noise effect.

You can mess with filter parameteres and so on to customize your sound.
You can add a Reverb to get a way much more natural sound.

Cheers.
