Came across this live looping video that I thought was really cool:

I don't quite understand what he's doing with the padkontrol to achieve his drum sounds. Seems like a lot of switching between scenes. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thank you!

Re: Live looping video
"alot of switching between scenes".....not too far off.....its called beat juggling, using follow action.....here is a good tutorial about it

the tutorial starts at about 2:38 i think it is a 2 part tutorial.

Re: Live looping video
I don't think that's it. Thanks for the link though - that's a useful tutorial.
I meant switching a lot between scenes (or banks) on the actual PK - Whoops. I can see how that would be confusing. You can see he is holding the "scene" button quite often.

Re: Live looping video
you know second, third, fourth look at it.....i bet he has the scene button on his padkontrol midi mapped to the record button on looper......everytime he hits it and hits a pad, it adds to the beat.....and from his computer screen, it doesn't look like he is changing scenes.....those are my guesses....i actually live in portland OR.......looks like i might have to check kpsu out if they are playing this sort of thing.
