Sends in the arrange view

Post by Analytik J » Mon Mar 21, 2005 10:34 am

Sorry in advance for what probably is a dumb question but, for some reason I dont see my sends in the arrange view. I see all of the other tracks including master but no sends. Can some one tell me where I might set the sends to show in the arrangement view?

the knobs from session view are represented by values in the far right column of the arrangement view, the half size little boxes under track volume and panning.

First let me say thanks for the info. Secondly, I notice that us 4.1.1 you may have as many sends as you want (atleast more than 4) instead of being limited to four as it was before. I dont know if I would ever use more than two let alone four but its nice to know you can if you want to.

Warm Regards,

the return channels do more than fx. they come in handy as well when you want to make groups. lets say, if you want to have tracks 1,2,3 and 4 going through the same outs, and have a global fx on them, other than the master, you can set all tracks' outs to 'sends only', turn the appropriate send knob full. set the output for the return channel... do this for different groups, add some fx channels...

now if only we could have a bit more view options for hiding/narrowing tracks... :)
