copy / paste efects

Post by like2nite » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:27 pm

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to copy the effects I use on one audio track and paste them to another one.

Can you please advise how i should do that?

Many thanks.

ctrl C ctrl V does not work - its not a Word document. Right clicking neither... Any other ideas?

Sure you are on Live? ;)

Click the first effect (gets yellow frame), shift click to highlight next/last effect. Or hit Ctrl-A for the whole chain to be selected.

Ctrl-C, Ctr-V.

Works. Still no Word document.

Check if you are on Live, not on Logic or Bitwig. ;)

oh it works bro. that was a very happy day for me when I discovered that just about everything in live responds to Copy/paste commands.
Chapter 33 page 487 of the manual which I assume you have because you have a legit version of live no?

yeah works here too.

i/you/we can even copy multiple effects at one time from one track and paste em to another... i was doing a lot of it last week - works just as K1D1M35N described in his post above.
