First, keep in mind that that song was mastered, maybe initially their kick didn't sound so "deep".
My tip is: layer, layer, layer, compress to gell, Eq to taste....ah, and mono it! then apply layers of mid-hi cymbals, toms, snares to give impact and color, then compress, Eq....and send the song to a mastering engineer
Cheers

Edit: or use Vengeance kick and lay some kickass bangers in notime, that will lay all the gals at your foot and make your friends green with envy, those who know , know what i mean...
Ah, and welcome to this forum !
Cheers

I would say EQ and Compression are your best mates in this matter. And a solid 808 sample to begin with.

Really punchy kick drums are a combination of layering, compression, equalization, tuning, and getting everything else out of the way (as much as possible).

See this if you aren't doing this already. Search around the internet and get as many high quality kick samples as you can find as trash in=trash out. Find some good stuff to start with.

After that, look through these tutorials for additional information on Kicks:

I've got another question. When I drop a kick audio sample in drum rack it sounds worse. How can i load sounds in drum rack without lost quality?

I've already had vengeance libraries. When i drop a audio sample into a midi channel i listen that worse. Why?

because the default simpler plays samples quietly. adjust the device volume or velocity sensitivity.

You can use Corpus on the kick, to give it that deeper sound.

but a lot of it is layering and layering as others have mentioned. Then Compressor and EQ as others have mentioned. (not to sound like a broken record)

Watch out for the amp envelope on simpler too, with the default settings it might not be playing the full sound.

You can also adjust the settings of drum rack simpler to your preference and save in defaults folder. Time saver.
