quality of sound from ableton compared to serato...

hi.

im finding that even with high quality audio and using lots of re-pitching, rather than time-stretching, and even with an apogee duet interface im getting worse sound quality than someone playing out of serato.

im wondering whether its something im doing in my set or anyone else finds a similar issue with ableton vs serato?
